Description
In this virtual class, learn from Unite's Creative Director, Gary Baker, who will cover ponytails and working with different textures when putting the hair up and a wet look straight from fashion week. This session follows a cutting session led by Unite's Assistant Creative Director, Todd Da Silva. Todd will teach his infamous 6 stages of a haircut, from the consultation to the fundamentals of a wet cut and, lastly, the finished look. In this class, he will be showcasing the new age "Modern Mullet." These courses will give you the best of both worlds, from Styling to Cutting techniques, that will expand your repertoire to use back in the salon!

Gary Baker
As an international session stylist, educator, and platform artist, Gary is an international session stylist, educator and platform artist. Gary has had the unique experience of working for two-time British Hairdresser of the Year, Beverly C. He also had the opportunity to present alongside industry legends Trevor Sorbie, Anthony Mascolo, and more. Examples of his work can be found throughout international designer campaigns and runway shows such as Belstaff, Burberry, Daks, Dior, and more.

Todd DaSilva
With an extensive background in Education, Todd began his career behind the chair over 10 years ago in San Diego before joining Bellus Academy as a full time Educator. He has won countless awards, including silver at the North American Trendvision Awards in 2014 and a Hairbrained Video Award in 2017. As the Assistant Creative Director at the school, Todd heads the Advanced Academy program and develops seasonal collections. His true passion is to continue to inspire and motivate Hairdressers through education and to elevate the culture of our community.
